The Health and Care Administration provides service, support, care, and assistance to the elderly and people with disabilities and is responsible for authority exercise according to applicable legislation. The administration operates within elderly care, LSS, social psychiatry, health care, family support, and authority exercise. All work is performed with the resident in focus based on the value foundation; respect, participation, trust, and security. Together we make each other better and work to achieve the vision of quality of life throughout life.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for residential support workers - temporary employment/cover for Tilgärdet, a group home just outside Sigtuna. The service is aimed at individuals with varying mental disabilities and comorbidity.

The work is based on the individual interventions of the user according to the implementation plan. The assignment includes, among other things, medication management, support in daily activities, and documentation. A large part of the working time consists of motivational conversations, risk assessments, and working based on established action plans. In the service, issues such as substance abuse, threats, violence, and suicidal problems may occur. The work also involves physical tasks.

The service operates around the clock, which means a schedule with shifts during days and evenings as well as both weekdays and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant with a focus on psychiatry, treatment pedagogue/treatment assistant, or has other post-secondary education that the employer assesses as equivalent. We expect you to have experience working with the target group and collaborating with, for example, caseworkers, outpatient care, and psychiatry. You have experience documenting in social journals, preferably Life Care, as well as good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing. We work in different systems, so good computer skills are a requirement. You also need to have a B driver's license. We consider it an advantage for the position if you have experience with MI (motivational interviewing), Studio 3, started the Career Journey, and ESL (an independent life).

As a person, you are calm and can handle stress in a constructive and stable manner. You maintain a good mood under pressure and adversity. You find it easy to create and maintain good relationships with both colleagues and users. You collaborate well and have an unpretentious approach with a focus on common goals. You are attentive and clear in your communication and solution-oriented in your approach to situations that arise in your work.
